Miscarriage and Camming

I am surprised that this topic has never come up on the forum? I don't think it is too inappropriate since it affects how you work?

I just had a very early natural miscarriage at 6 weeks. I'm upset but not devastated. I didn't know I was pregnant until a week before it happened. I didn't have time to get attached and children are not something I plan on having. Still... I am sad something I created has died

But it throws a wrench into working. I can not use tampons, sea sponges, or the diva cup for a month. Also, no penetration at all for a month doctors orders.

Soon I will be relying on my Hitachi and black panties. A month is a long time for no penetration which sucks. If I put "no penetration" in the room topic I will not get shows. So here is to an awkward month of pretending not to hear the customer if he specifically asks for penetration.

I do not want to take time off. Working and making money makes me feel better, Moping around waiting not to bleed is just miserable.

I'm incline to say that your health comes first, both physically and mentaly. That being said, here are my suggestions.

1. If you work on a variety of webcam sites, try to work one week on each, saying that your "vagina is out of order for a few days" (I know, sounds wierd, but it works for me). If you do Anal, then you're good to go!

2. If you only work on one webcam site, tell them that due to health issues, you can't perform vaginal penetration for the next weeks or so. If they don't get it, you don't need that kind of customers.

3. If you have other paying projects or need to work on marketing yourself, pursue those ideas until you're fully back in shape; (website, photoshoots, non porn videos, shopping, name it...)
