My private Instagram was linked to my cam modelling

I’m 26, and have been working as a cam model for the last 3 years. I’d mainly dance around in cute outfits and talk to viewers, but those who tipped me big I would add to a private snap to where I’d send more sexy videos.

About two months ago, I realized a viewer of mine had uploaded my content to a revenge porn site, as well as somehow found out my private social media and linked it. Luckily, the name I use on social media isn’t my birth name but a shortened variation of my name (example: Megan Hall instead of Megan Hallman) I deactivated it and it’s been deactivated since, but I’m scared he’s already documented my family’s and friends accounts. I did some investigating on the guy who did this, and found out he’s a registered sex offender via a police report, as well as found out his work place.

I truly don’t know what to do from here. About him, or my life. I don’t want to do anything that will cause him to escalate this situation further, but I also want to protect myself. I’ve also left camming which is my only source of income, and have been living off my savings until I figure out what to do next.

So sorry you’re going through this. More often than not these people don’t go too far in regards to revenge type stuff, it’s highly illegal. I would document everything and save it in case he pops back up. If he does then I’d call the proper authorities. What you’re doing is not illegal, what he did is. I could be over simplifying things but those are my thoughts. Best of luck!
