On the topic of stripping..

Since moving to the UK, I haven't gone on cam for a number of reasons, mainly a somewhat unstabile internet-connection as well as a dying laptop (I would assume that it got a few too many hits on the way here)..
While I hope to get everything set up so that I can get back on cam, I have been looking into some options..
One thing that keeps coming up is possibly stripping, but I am honestly paranoid about ending up in a bad place and getting myself in trouble, especially since I still don't feel like I know the UK yet, and certainly not the stripping-industry.
When I first stumbled across webcamming, it was when I was actually applying for a stripping-job through an agency, and they suggested that maybe I should give camming a go, and so I did. Since they were planning on taking a significant cut from my cam-pay, I ended up dropping them as the middlehand and signing up to the camsite on my own and then that was the last time I heard from them.
I was looking around hastily on another website (more aimed at strippers) and saw a number of ads for various agencies that would hook you up with work at various clubs and help with whatever else needed surrounding it (if you moved abroad or whatever). I ended up looking at one of them and it seems like an okay deal, but being the paranoid person that I am, I get images in my head of mafia-types luring unsuspecting girls into dirty apartments and chaining them to the walls, only to sell them to whoever enters the room with a wallet..

Since I know that some of you girls have and are working as strippers, I was wondering if perhaps you could give some advice. Just in general. And what should I look for when I try to find a club and are these agencies anything to waste my time on or should I run away screaming from them as fast as I can?

Well I am not in the UK so I cant know exactly how things are over there, but I always try to visit a potential club before calling about an audition or just coming in. The advantage of checking it out ahead of time is to check out the lay of the land maybe talk to a girl or two(tip them for their time) to see what they say and note what the crowd is like. I suggest going on a weekend.

I have stripped on and off since 2006ish and you will learn a lot on the job and if the girls you work with are cool they will help you learn the ropes. It can be very lucrative when you get more experience and learn what to do, but you have to keep a good head on your shoulders and dont get involved in drama, drugs, or too much drinking. I was lucky and found StripperWeb when I was looking into dancing. So much info.
