Paying your Costar?

Hey!

If you decide to make content with another person, model or otherwise, what do you find is the easiest way to pay them for their time?

Edit: I should specify, I don't mean payment methods. Do you wait until the video has some sales, then pay your co-star a percentage, or do you give them x amount upfront?

Also, do you draw up a contract? I'm thinking of making a couple of videos with someone who is not in the industry.

as always, consent, ownership and of age. Always get a copy of the id. those are a must since its the law, and you're the records holder. Maybe someone can explain those better to you, and point you to the forms.

Back when I shot a lot of customs, I'd pay my photographer a % of what I charged the customer, then he would shoot my website for free.

when I cam with others, I always do 50/50, as long as they are willing to do what it takes. some don't realize it's just as much (Sometimes more) work as it is fun.
