OK...I'm new to the cam industry (have only been doing it for about 3 months) and I might sound really stupid by admitting this, but I didn't realize that when you broadcast yourself, users in your room have the ability to record you live at any time with the use of simple free software provided by microsoft and other distributors. I guess I just assumed that cam sites would have some type of technology in place that would prevent the user from running this type of recording software while the user is chatting with models on their site, but this is not the case. I downloaded the software for myself and was able to make a recording. This means whether you're in free chat or "in private" with a member, he or she has the ability to record you on their PC. The user then can turn around and sell these recordings of you to other pay sites and make money off of your show. I'm on cams.com and I COMMONLY hear complaints from members about models not really being live in their chat rooms or in private--that the broadcasts of models appear to have been pre-recorded. So this kinda leaves me really freaked out. I wasn't prepared to get into the porn industry, I just thought only the people who took me private would be able to see and hear our sessions, I don't want this following me forever...but now I'm learning that these sessions aren't as private as I once thought...Is there anyway I can AT LEAST place a watermark on my live broadcast?? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated
