Today at 11 AM EST, Trump signed HR 1865 into law.
It might be useful to keep an eye out for various ToS changes... Every adult site out there will try to cover their asses, especially because the United States has jurisdiction over these domains: .com, .biz, .org, .net.
It's already clear that, if you are escorting as a side or main job, you can not advertise anymore in the US and in some international directories.
- Craigslist shut down the Personals section;
- FetLife is talking about banning escorts, findommes and consensual blackmail;
- MFC updated their ToS, they will start banning for any transaction such as offering to meet a site member for tokens;
- The Erotic Review not only closed all US advertising boards, but it CLOSED ACCESS TO U.S.A. COMPLETELY;
- Yellow Pages closed escorting services;
- Microsoft/Skype/XBox updated and will start applying their new ToS starting May 1st - offensive language and offensive and explicit images will be banned from all their products.
If you have important news regarding adult websites (ToS changes, etc.), please post them so that everyone can read about these changes. This law won't matter only in the USA, it will have a global impact.
