Sleep Paralysis

I was wondering if anyones ever experienced this ? It happens too me quite often (4-5 times per month).

Basically "Sleep paralysis is a phenomenon in which people, either when falling asleep or wakening, temporarily experience an inability to move. More formally, it is a transition state between wakefulness and rest characterized by complete muscle atonia (muscle weakness). It can occur at sleep onset or upon awakening, and it is often associated with terrifying visions (e.g., an intruder in the room), to which one is unable to react due to paralysis." Since it happens to me quite often, im kind of used to it, but it still sometimes terrify me. I really feel like there is a presence in my room and it sometimes also comes with visual and auditive hallucinations. I don't always experience it the same way, sometimes I just hear voices, sometimes I think there's a ghost or more terrifying, the girl in the movie The Ring. Like on the moment it happens, im not always sure if im in a dream or it's reality. In fact, it's kind of hard to explain. I just want to wake up, but I just can't move.

So anyone here ever experienced this ?

Yeah, I get this too! It just started this year. I usually hear someone walking around the bed or on it and sometimes a voice. Once I heard someone breaking into the house. I try to scream but nothing comes out. If it goes on long enough my breathing becomes erratic. I've been getting better with being able to wake myself up...at least last time it was better. I also told my fiance if he hears me make a slight noise, that I'm probably trying to wake myself up and to wake me up.
It's so terrifying!
