I apologize if this has been asked before, but I feel like I have a unique problem and no idea how to fix it. I would like to split cam so that I can stay busy longer each hour than if I just work one site at a time. I'm new so I don't charge too much and I don't have the client base yet.. so I'm trying to go for numbers right now.
Anyway, I have tried split camming LJ and SM. I have read that you can't split on LJ when you use the software or the website (I can't remember which), but when I tried it, the video stream seemed fine. My problem occurred with the sound. As soon as the second site came on/was streaming, I got a horrible feedback noise that was so bad it made me close both sites to avoid annoying people. I tried plugging headphones into my laptop to avoid the mic picking up speaker noise. It didn't change anything. I've always hated audio settings in windows, especially mic related ones.. I'm using Win 7, 4 gb memory, dual core intel cpu. It's not new by any means but it runs SM encoder on high settings without issues. Does anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong or what I can do better? I was using the free version of manycam btw, and I don't care for splitting cam in the future with LJ, but I'd like to have the process figured out for when I'm ready to try this again.
