Taxes, chaturbate tips

I am a cam model who made about 10000$ last year from camming. I was wondering if it was ok for us to file our money earned into the tips section... we (my boyfriend and I) sent already and got our tax returns (i'm on his charges because i'm student and couldn't work.) The checks were always on his name. I am just scared that we did something wrong... i'm in Canada btw.

Tell me on which section do you declare the money you earned.

Because it's true, we don't have a hour wage, but we receive tips.. i'm kinda confused..

In Canada you file the T2125 and you claim your expenses. You could also claim
Box 020 - Self-employed commissions
Enter your gross commissions income on line 166 and your net commissions income on line 139 of your return.

T2125 statement of business or professional activities or Box 020 Self employment income.

You can use siimpletax.ca or TurboTax

Turbo Tax expert can help you figure out filling out box 020 or the T2125 form.

I track all my income and expenses using zipbooks. Also if you are getting disability benefits especially government disability you would still fill out the income and expense report form from the disability office and the forms for T2125 or box 020.

you have to convert the US dollar to the Canadian dollar. that is how the Canada Revenue Agency wants it.
