Telling people I Cam/Dom for a living with positive responses!

So I wanted to share for people who are nervous to come out. I was very nervous to tell people I am a cam girl. I live in a very conservative area and grew up in a very religious home.

I decided to just start telling people what I do right away if they ask. I have also told my friends. I have actually gotten good responses which surprised me. I have not told my parents but I've decided I don't care about their response. I have not seen my dad in 8 years and I do not have a close relationship with my mother.

I thought dating would be hard because of all the stories I have heard. I have only been on dates with 4 different guys but they have all gone well in that they respect my boundaries and did not get made when I didn't "put out". The guy I was intimate actually asked verbally for sexual consent and jokes with me about my job. :)

These are just my experiences of course! They will be different for everyone! But I built up all of these terrible ideas in my head of what might happen when I came out as a camgirl. But it has been a great experience and very freeing.

Woo! *waves pompoms*

I actually just told my parents and sister about camming yesterday. I explained it as "entertaining lonely men for money". And I added, "and yeah, some girls take their clothes off, but you don't have to." They assumed (incorrectly) that I wouldn't. However, I didn't correct them.
