The only issue with indy sites and affiliate programs

the only issue with indy sites and affiliate programs is that we're competing with network cam sites with PPS and rev share offers that vastly exceed what we could offer (unless you want to give away 50% of the earnings from each referred client purchase you won't get much interest from affiliates). there is one indy listing site that has an affiliate program, it seems to be targeted towards women who use the site as the affiliate percentage is only 5% (for 80% in total). No non-performer would be interested in a 5% rev share sponsor, and the percentage boost still doesn't match the payout offered by my site (85%). affiliate programs are one of the reasons that network cam site payouts are so low, the benefit of course being higher traffic levels. It's a trade off, like JoyKitten wrote nothing is free.

to the OP, unless you're highly technical building an aff program would cost you thousands in upfront expenses. then you'd have to promote your aff program to gain sign-ups, which is a full time job in and of itself.

I'd suggest that a better use of your time and resources is social media, banner exchanges and clip sales. Treat running your site and promoting yourself like a full-time job, because it is. Every moment when you're not on cam has to be about promoting your site, your shows, your brand.

Work hard, keep pushing and believe in your ability to do this. I wish ya the best of luck
