Website basic content question

I am in the process of building myself a site via tumblr

I keep feeling like I'm forgetting something that I need to have on it
What would you all suggest as necessary or beneficial content to have on a website?

also - what should I make sure I list in terms of rules or information about myself?

You really don't want to build a website using tumblr.

Tumblr can and will shut you down because they own tumblr and they are tumblr.

You want to create a self hosted website where you own your domain name and you also pay monthly for hosting.

Too many models think they will set up a site/page whatever on tumblr and then come back here complaining when they are shut down.

At most you could use social media for promotion but even that is not a good plan. because of their terms and conditions and they can have done things that are not listed on terms and conditions because they own that space.
