My hope is to obtain a Ph.D and specialize in Tudor/Stuart England as well as a sub-specialization in pre-revolutionary France.My aspirations are well on their way to being accomplished. I'm majoring in history and minoring in French. I will begin taking Latin in addition to a graduate level course in reading French in the Autumn as well as learning Paleography and submitting papers to various history conferences around the country. I also have obtained a post as someone's research assistant.
All of these things will make me stick out a great deal more when I apply to graduate programs. I'm seriously considering going to England to pursue this.
No matter how frustrating camming gets, I am always reminded of my ultimate goal. And even more importantly, how it is helping me get there.
