What is ACH payment

Ok I might sound like an idiot by asking this but what exactly is ACH payment I'm trying to open a Clips4Sale store and one option is ACH payment but I'm not sure exactly what it is.

Is this the same as direct deposit into a bank account? I'm confused

My current camsite just pays me via direct deposit which is super convenient so I'm unsure what this other methods are.


So can someone chime in and tell me exactly what ACH is? Thanks

ACH is Direct Deposit. That's how the banks list it when they post the money to your bank account. I think ACH is only available to US bank accounts. I think if you're outside of the us then it would be wire transfer. The thing with wire transfers is that you get charged twice. You pay a fee to the company sending you the wire transfer and then your bank charges you to receive the wire transfer.
