Why camsites and fansites don't work together

I keep wondering why camsites and fansites don't really work out as 2 in 1?
From my own experience, LiveJasmin is awesome vor streaming and videocall, but when they tried stories, subscriptions, content sale and, almost no member uses them. On the other side, I sell very good my content on qrush, make a lot from messages and customs, but alsmot no fac dares to press the videocall option and be live with me.
Why?

I have noticed this also. I make about half my income in video sales and have tried to sell Skype shows to clip customers who contact me. Most of the time it's just wasted energy. As a general rule the customers who love watching my vids are not the same ones who love interacting with me on live cam.
