I just made my first amazon wish list and i'm not sure how it works, if someone buys me something from it does how do I know? Do I pay for the shipping? They don't need my address do they?

You have one of two options when using Amazon. You can either include your address and risk them discovering it, or you can accept gift cards only which are sent to your address. You can immediately redeem the gift cards, versus having to wait on the item to reach your door. They tend to cover shipping but if you were super worried, you could just find stuff with free shipping.
