I've worked as a Freelance Marketing Consultant for about 8 years, working from home. I love that work passionately, as I'm able to impact developmental decisions by some major names in retail etc. But the fact is, it doesn't pay well. Americans & Europeans flock to work with Freelancers, because we cost much less than hiring an actual workforce. What's made it worse for me, is that Filipinos and other pan-Asians have really changed the game by offering similar services for even less than industry standard. While the quality of work is not comparable, the almighty dollar rules everything.
I've searched high and low for other things to dabble in, none proved lucrative or sustainable. I ghost-write for some bloggers, but again, not lucrative.
I really hope that camming pans out for me...it's one of those jobs that never quite lets you forget you did it...lol. I'm sorry, I've just rambled on about me, and not contributed anything helpful...I guess I'm waiting just like you to find out what's out there
