I'm also afraid of that. I have been doing live cam and video clips for a year+ and I think I'm good so far. The way I see it there is only a very slim chance anyone could find out about it through the internet itself because the internet is really huge and gets bigger every day. The more likely way for your mom to find out is if she sees your paperwork, supplies or computer screen with a cam site up. I do worry sometimes and then I remind myself that I'm not doing anything wrong. The only thing that is wrong here is the society and media that tells people lies about this industry and sees us as sinful people who must have some kind of deep-seated issues instead of your nice normal neighbors who have worked hard to start a business where nothing is guaranteed and there is no compassion for those who don't succeed. We put so much of our selves into our work. We cam models have everything to be proud of because this is a risky industry where you can make a lot of money and lift yourself to a better education and socioeconomic status like you can never do with a basic job like I had, but you have to be committed and independent because outside of this internet bubble, you can't exactly ask for help and advice. Your mom may never understand and I don't think you can force her to, but the world in general becomes more educated and accepting every day thanks to the spread of information through the internet.
