If you find the settings option, mine is bottom right, from there go into output, then you will find an option for recording formats in the recording section, and you just select what you would like it to record as. It looks like its typically flv format as mine is. Hope this helps! Also, you can if you don't want to re-record, find a software that allows you re-edit it and then just save it in a different format, of course it would have to be a software that allows the original flv to be opened and re-edited, and have an option to save as the format you wish.
There is something called wondershare videoconverter that gives a free download, but it is a trial so I'm not sure if its got a water mark, but does convert all sort of formats from all sorts of formats.
