TROLLS. We all know who they are. No one likes them, I still however get asked from time to time from other cam models on how to deal with "Trolls"
*For those that dont know what a Troll is: A Troll is a person that goes on the internet to prey on innocent people and harass them. They do this by insulting, doing mean things etc. In other words- bullying. And Trolls can be anywhere, any camsite, and social network- Facebook and Twitter. You can find them anywhere.*
I feel the number one way to deal with these pesky Trolls is to IGNORE THEM!
When youre webcamming and a Troll comes into your room and says something really negative, your first thought may be to say something back, or to ban them, whatever. DONT DO THIS! This is exactly what "feeding the trolls means". Reacting in ANY way is giving the Troll what they want. They live off getting a reaction out of you, that is why they do what they do. The way to react, is to not react at all. The way me, and some of my other cam girls do it, is we act like their comment/s did not even come through our screen at all- like the comment is not even there. We show absolutely NO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT! And... it works! Every single time! The Troll wonders why you didnt react, they usually get bored and leave. There, problem gone. I know sometimes it can be really hard if they say something that really gets to you. But please, try everything in your power to IGNORE IT. Over time you will develop thick skin, and pesky little comments from Trolls wont get to you.
I PROMISE this approach works! I really urge you to try it. There is no reason to let some loser who hides behind a computer screen, to be mean to people, get in the way of you making YOUR MONEY. So always remember:
DONT FEED THE TROLLS!
