Livejasmin is changing their payout system now

A model who works on both LJ and MFC told me yesterday that Jasmin is changing their payout system now, so that models who make more money get to keep a higher percentage than 35%.

$300 - $650 40%
$650 - $1500 45%
$1500 - $2500 50%
> $2500 60%

Looks like they are reacting to models leaving their site over their ridiculous 35% slice of the pie. (These amounts cover each pay period, which is half a month.)

This is true. You have to earn the percentages, and I have a little more info on Livejasmin:

For the first 4 hours of your stay on livejasmin, a model can not charge more than 0.98/minute. This is probably the busiest time for a model since she's new and a lot of people seek out the newbies for that very reason. Once the 0.98/min is up, though, it's time to get serious.

$100 - $300 35%
$300 - $650 40%
$650 - $1500 45%
$1500 - $2500 50%
> $2500 60%

This is what information I got:

6.legend $2500 < 60%
5.superstar $1500 - $2500 50%
4.star $650 - $1500 45%
3.famous $300 - $650 40%
2.accomplished $100 - $300 35%
1.aspiring < - $100 30% (unless you choose to do member chat only, which you are then making 25%.)

An additional 20% can be achieved from referred Members.



At first this seemed great! I admit, despite my distaste for LJ I had to give my 'not bad' face before I continued on my reading. Well, these percentages restart monthly. You don't start back up where you left off, you're back to 'aspiring'.

Someone said that the highest they allow you to charge is 3.99/minute. When I worked there I could go up to 5.99, so I'm not sure if that changed. No one has disputed her on that yet.

I'm not going to lie, I had a horrible experience on LJ so I'm always skeptical of their schemes. I don't know how this new LJ thing will work out, it might be great! I'm keeping my eye on the LJ ladies I know.
